Description
Finishing up the Spring 2009 Collection project for my portfolio -- I didn't have a lot of time because of school, so I'm trying to catch up.
Floral prints are overworked in the springtime, so the object was to incorporate floral elements in a way that is at least a little unused.
My idea was to make the wearer of the clothes to appear as the actual flower, but in a sort of subtle way. I'm not sure if I hit the mark or not, and I'm sure the idea has been used before, but... meh.
This dress is supposed to look similar to the birds of paradise flower.
Staedtler pigment liners and Prismacolor alcohol-based markers.
